I hope I:
-never lose the awe of Christ’s sacrifice I feel each time I am inside church.
-never lose the amazement of how great God is.
-never forget to laugh when things are a little rough.
-always remember to say please and thank you.
-always remember to be kind to the older generation, because one day I’ll be in that category.
-always remember to be respectful of the younger generation, because one day they’ll be the ones in charge and taking care of me.
-never forget how to watch a Disney movie just for the fun of it, without the intent of learning anything.
-always run to God in prayer and in the Bible for answers to life’s questions.
-always remember that it takes being a friend to have friends.
-never grow too “old” to read Dr. Seuss.
-always remember to be kind, even to people who don’t deserve it.
-always remember that Christ died for me, even though I didn’t and still don’t deserve it.
-never forget to give my change to the Salvation Army at Christmas time when those “cute” old guys are out there ringing the bell.
-never forget to fly the USA flag on the Fourth of July and Veterans Day.
-never forget the sacrifices made and still being made for the freedoms I often take for granted.
-always am thankful for my job, a roof over my head, and dinner on the table.
-never take for granted my clean water to drink.
-never complain too loudly about the price of gasoline, because at least I am blessed to be able to own and drive a car.
-always view children as a gift from God, and encourage them to see how much God loves them.
-always serve in the capacity God allows me to.
-never see a need and ignore it.
-never judge a person based on appearances.
-never allow my pride to destroy a friendship.
-never allow what people think of me to out rule what God thinks of me.
J.
